Year 1 Line Drawing – Self portrait
The children were introduced to using a sketch book to experiment with line. Initially, the children used string to create straight line patterns, and then a whole group task exploring curved lines using a range of media. The following lessons were then learning to draw different lines and then shapes. This enabled us to create a self portrait.
