Educational visits are a great way to extend children's learning outside of the classroom.
A series of off-site educational visits and visitors to school are arranged for each class annually to supplement the Curriculum and enhance our pupils' learning.

Autumn - Stone Age Day - children experience what it would be like to be a Stone Age person, going on a hunt in the woods, learning to throw a spear, lighting a fire and cooking on an open fire!
Spring - The children visit the National Coal Mining Museum as part of our Geography topic which compares Yorkshire to another region in the World.
Summer - The children are visited by a real life Roman soldier! A guest historian will visit school and bring the Romans topic to life!
