Calverley CE (Aided) Primary School is a two from entry primary school which has strong links with the Church (St Wilfrid's) and the local community.
School opens each morning at 8:50am and closes 3:20pm.
The school benefits from well maintained, resourced and established classrooms and grounds.
It has two large halls which are utilised at PE/Games spaces. The larger of the two halls is also used as the main lunch hall and worship space for the whole school community.
Calverley CE has a large field which is equipped with an adventure playground, an all weather surface games area and outdoor learning classroom.
Pupils are extremely positive about their school and relish their learning. They value the friendly and caring ethos of their school and the support and encouragement that they receive from their teachers.
Pupils feel safe and happy, which helps them to learn more effectively.
Parents are overwhelmingly positive about the school. Many of the parents speak of how happy their children are and how much they love coming to school. They are full of praise for the school’s welcoming ethos and its ‘wonderful sense of community’.
