In Year 5 JH today, we all learnt how to code. We began by tinkering with microbit.org which allowed us to use program blocks to code our own virtual microbit. We learnt to create flashing text, moving sprints and how to program each button to perform certain actions.
We then explored game coding using Google. By clicking on the Google icon display - you are transported to a game creator/editor. The children began using this editor to create their own retro-platform games!
