Last week, Jon Ward worked with both Year 5 classes - presenting an interactive session based on our recent topic of Life Cycles! Jon is a PhD qualified Biologist (Ecologist) who kindly gave his time to support and enrich children's learning. Jon, known to the children as 'Mr Bethan's Dad' engaged and enthused the children in their scientific learning. He brought a life sized skeleton, sea monkeys, an exploding volcano (just for fun!) and the children completed a number of super activities - bringing science alive! Jon has kindly offered to continue his support - Y3 will be the next class to enjoy his engaging sessions!
