This half term, following on from Year 6 pupils who set a wonderful example, a group of Year 5 pupils will be conducting a daily visit around school to monitor how class are conserving energy. They monitor all classrooms and shared spaces to check the radiator temperatures, ventilation in the rooms and if lights are switched off when the space is not in use.
At the end of each week a Green team trophy is awarded to the most Eco aware class.
The Eco monitor team will continue to change each half term to ensure all class can participate in this role.
