Year 6 Residential Robinwood Activity Centre

Dear Parents,
We are very keen to take the pupils in Year 6 on a residential in March next year to Robinwood Activity Centre. We believe that the experience of a residential visit for our children before they embark upon their secondary school career is invaluable in terms of each child’s personal and social development (as well as being fantastic fun!).
The Robinwood Activity Centre offers a full and varied programme run by fully qualified instructors. We have provisionally booked a three-day visit for 60 pupils from Monday 25th March to Wednesday 27th March 2024 and are really keen that all Year 6 children are able to attend.
The total cost of the trip is £269 and we would require a deposit of £89.00 per child by Thursday 31st August in order for us to confirm the slot with Robinwood. Once we are able to do this I will send out further information and dates about the visit. Please complete payment via the Gateway app.
We do realise that this is an expensive visit, but do strongly feel that the instruction and experience the children have is well worth it. In cases of genuine hardship, school would be able to contribute to supporting the financial cost of the visit. Obviously, this separate funding will come from the school’s resources and is not included in the cost of the price paid by Year 6 parents.
