We were all really thrilled in school last week when we received notification of the Key Stage 2 results. All the children did extremely well, making great progress over the year, even if they didn't quite make the pass marks. Congratulations to them all! They should all be very proud of their outcomes.
Overall, school's results are extremely pleasing and Calverley's results are well above national average, 24% above it!

91% of children achieved National Expectation in Reading. The National average was 74%
84% of children achieved National Expectation in Writing. The National average was 69%
90% of children achieved National Expectation in Grammar & Spelling. The National average was 72%
93% of children achieved National Expectation in Maths. The National average was 71%
83% of children achieved National Expectation in Reading and Writing and Maths, The National average was 59%
Considering all the disruption through Covid-19 and the lockdowns, class closures, etc., I am sure you agree the children have worked really hard and deserve huge congratulations for achieving these results.
