14/5/20

Dear Parents,

Following the news about the proposed partial re-opening of school, we wanted to reassure you that school will remain open for children of key workers who cannot work from home, and certain other groups of children whose families have been contacted directly by school.

To support our planning for a return of more children to school, we would appreciate if you could let us know if you are a key worker whether you would require a school place for your child(ren) from the 1st June, whether that would be full-time or part-time.

The Government’s list of Key (or Critical) Workers currently remains unaltered but is under review and can be found here:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-maintai…

To allow us to gather this information quickly and efficiently we have added a questionnaire to the front page of our school web site. The web site can be found at www.calverleycofeprimaryschool.org.uk. You can find the questionnaire if you click on the news item entitled Key Worker Attendance Questionnaire.

The questionnaire will ask you indicate whether you would like your child(ren) have a key worker school place from 1st June 2020. Please only answer Attending or Not attending for your child(ren)s particular year group.

The information gathered will enable us have some indication of numbers and to plan more effectively for the children's provision in school.

We would very much appreciate if you could complete the questionnaire by Friday evening, 15th May 2020.

Finally, all of us at Calverley CE send our best wishes and hope you are all healthy and well.

Yours sincerely,

Mr J Hallas (Assistant Headteacher)
